AIMS has a unique reputation as a niche construction manager in the healthcare and higher education markets. With offices in Detroit and Pittsburgh, AIMS provides services throughout the Great Lakes regions of Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
AIMS is proud of our long-standing relationships built with outstanding organizations such as: University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Trinity Health, Detroit Medical Center, University of Michigan Health System, Ascension Health, Beaumont Health, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Michigan.
Providing preconstruction, construction management, design / build and integrated project delivery (IPD) services is what AIMS does best for complex renovation projects with deadlines that have financial impacts on those facilities. We are committed to the Great Lakes marketplace and will continue growing geographically in the region.
Our History
1972 was a year of many notable achievements: internet-based email was invented; HBO became the first paid cable network, Atari released PONG the first generation of video games, The Godfather was on its way to winning an Oscar for Best Movie, “Bye Bye Miss American Pie” was heard every two hours on the radio, and AIMS Construction was born in October of that year. 50 years later, it is amazing to think about how far AIMS has come.
Starting as a painting contractor by the name of Consumers Maintenance, Joe Belanger and Bill Frantz set out to see if they could make a go of it instead of being laid off from their cement pouring jobs during the fall/winter. Well, it worked! They never went back to pouring cement at Sinelli’s!
Stay tuned as we celebrate our history, our accomplishments, our staff and our clients. So many have contributed to our success and for this we are deeply grateful. And we are reminded that the hallmarks of AIMS – honesty, integrity, collaboration, creative problem-solving and service have never changed.
As we mark our 50th Anniversary, we can’t help but think about what the next 50 years will look like and how we can help our clients shape their futures.
